2. What's the difference between condensation cure silicone and addition cure silicone?

the big advantage of addition cure silicone is lower shrinkage than condensation cure silicone,usually,condensation cure silicone's shrinkage is 3‰,addition cure is1‰.then addition cure silicone's catalyst is non toxic,so it is food grade and medical grade,can make chocolate mould etc.,condensation cure silicone can't be.moreover,for addition cure silicone,heating can improve the curing speed,so you can put it in to the oven to make it cure fast,condensation cure silicone can't.ofcause,the addition cure silicone is relatively higher cost and price than condensation cure silicone.

3.If i don't have vacuum pumping machine can i make silicone mould?

Yes,if you don't have vacuum pumping machine,we can adjust the silicone lower viscosity make it more fluidity,then it is easier to release the bubble by itself.or we can reduce the addition of curing agent to increase the crossing linking reaction so it has enough time to release the bubbles itself.

4.How to know the silicone rubber quality is good or not?

good quality silicone rubber is easy operation,good fluidity,with excellent tensile and tear strength,the mold made by silicone will not be oil,poor quality silicone have strong smell,the mold made by poor quality silicone is easy tear it up,after replicate few times the mold will be broken,and the mold is oily.

5. Why will the silicone mold be reused only for a few times?

It can be due to the following reasons:

1).Adding too much silicone oil into silicone rubber. Silicone oil is an additive which can destroy the molecular weight of silicone rubber and reduce the tension and tear strength.

2).Using the silicon rubber with a high hardness to make molds for small sized products with delicate and intricate designs or the silicone rubber with a low hardness to makes molds for large sized products with simple designs.

    (Notes:we should choose the silicon rubber specifically according to the requirements of our products to avoid this problem.)

The quality of the mold silicone is very good, only suitable for and not suitable for. We should use suitable type of silicone rubber for the size of the product to make the mould, then it won't appear this kind of problem.

6. Why is the appearance of the finished mold striate and unsmooth?

3 reasons can cause this kinds of problem:
1）.It is because the appearance of the product or the model itself is not smooth
2）.The product or the model has not been polished before the further operation
3）. You haven't spray the release agent evenly
So when you make silicone molds, firstly you should choose a perfect mold and polish it, spray the release agent evenly on the product. In this case, the problem can be avoided.
